I hadn't seen Mark much since Alana and my high school days but remember hanging out at their home and always sharing laughs w/ him back then. I mostly remember what a great father and family man he was and that was still evident today in seeing how much he was loved and how greatly he will be missed. My condolences to the entire Lewis family. Love you Alana!

One of my fondest memories of Tio Mark will always be the time he wore oatmeal on his face with drops of red food coloring for blood. One of the scariest Halloweens of my childhood. 😍
He always treating us like part of the family and why his children will always be my brothers and sister for life.
Mark your warm hugs and inviting smiles will forever be missed, and Carolyn is waiting with open arms. We love and miss you Tio Mark.

Luke 23:43

And he said to him, “Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise.”

I’ll never forget the kindness of the man that could amaze a child with a simple trick. His love of life and his friends and especially his family is a trait admired by many and achieved by few. I am certainly a richer person for knowing you. Until we meet again...

I am so blessed to have known "Uncle" Mark. One of my fondest memories of him was both at the St. Patrick's Day parties and he would always love to hear my twin and I sing. I will always remember going to lunch at South Bank grill on my lunch hour in Phoenix many years ago. Little did I know, Uncle Mark and Grandpa Jack always had their table set up ready to go, and we would frequently run into them there having lunch. I will always remember his smile and how he laughed with his whole heart. He always had something nice to say when anyone would see him, no matter how long it had been. He will be missed!

Mr. Lewis was the most kind, loving, accepting father figure I have ever known. He loved to laugh, poke fun at you and laugh some more. Always the life of the party. He had a beautiful smile and a warm heart and you always knew where you stood with him. I was so fortunate to have had time with him in my life. He will be forever be missed on this earth and I cant wait to spend time laughing with him again in Heaven!

Mark was a very special person to me and especially my husband John. They were forever friends and I’m sure now are reuniting and telling stories. Mark loved coming over to see John but in the winter when my Mom was living with us he would love her lemon pies and Mom always saved him a piece. I’m sure she is baking in heaven for him. Those last years of John’s life Mark was always around for him, a special bond those 2 had. Love and peace to Mark. He is in a better place and surrounded by friends. Love to all his family

Mark was such a huge part of my life and he will be forever in my heart.
He was another dad to me... he treated me like another daughter and loved me like one too.
He was always so loving and kind. But, when he was mad at Alana and I.... boy, did we know! Lol
I will miss his laugh, smile and hearing him call me Baby Girl.

To family and friend's,
I'm so sorry about the loss of your loved one. Death is not and never was God's purpose for humans. That's why he promises to resurrect those who have fallen asleep in death. (John 5:28,29) (Acts 24:15)
I hope that reading these few scriptures will help you to find some comfort during your time of grief.

Mark, you were a papa to many and loved by all. Your humor and wit always made me laugh. I know you are in a better place, but those who loved you must bare the wait until they see you again. I pray that while your family waits, they live, laugh, and love until you meet again.
