Phoenix, AZ - Maggie (Margaret) Rebecca (Dorzback) Doehnert, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2026 at the age of 70 after battling cancer for four years. Maggie was born in 1956 in New York City, NY to Richard and Ann Dorzback. She married her college sweetheart, Bob Doehnert, on September 2, 1979. They went on to have three loving children, Jennifer, Debbie, and Daniel, and six grandchildren.

Maggie graduated from the University of Kentucky with Bachelor's and Master's degrees in business and marketing. She put her degrees to use as she taught courses at several business colleges. She dedicated almost 30 years as Director of Sales and Marketing at Professional Marketing Services, Inc.

Maggie shared her passion for travel with her husband, Bob, as they loved seeing new things and meeting new people. She was blessed to visit over 50 countries including most of the US, Europe, Asia and Africa. Maggie also enjoyed planning incredible adventures for her children and grandchildren; memories they will cherish for a lifetime.

Another great passion was lifelong charity work serving others. She rocked babies at her church nursery for over 20 years, delivered gifts for Angel Tree ministries, built homes in Rocky Point, Mexico, packed shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child, and helped create bags for Hope for the Homeless.

Maggie is survived by her husband, Bob; her siblings, Irene, Bob, and Elizabeth (Morris); her children, Jennifer (Scott), Debbie (Chris), Daniel, and her six grandchildren; and many close family and friends.

May her soul find eternal peace, and may her memory live on in the hearts of all who were touched by her presence.

A Celebration of Life and Reception will be held Saturday, March 28th at 3pm, at Mountain Park Church, 16461 S. 48th St. Phoenix, AZ 85048.
